Getting onto webchat is a bit like buying a lottery ticket, virtually no chance, must have tried 30 or 40 times. Email is an immediate automated reply and no follow up. Phone call took 70 minutes to get through with no queue length information and then you can’t speak to anyone dealing with your case. Then you realise that despite providing specific information at the outset your case hasn’t been referred to the correct area for 8 weeks and then goes to the back of the queue in that dept. Not happy at all.

I have rung twice and emailed twice, both weeks ago. In my experience you receive an immediate automated response then absolutely nothing. When phoning I waited an hour to get through to be basically fobbed off. I have been waiting over 18 weeks and do not understand why, nor will you tell me. The probate service does not appear to be fit for purpose. They were happy enough to cash my cheque three months ago but not do anything for it. They are making me ill but are not remotely bothered, by the time they act there will probably be no money left as it is invested in the stock market. So so fed up with this.

Can you please advise on the waiting times, as it keeps saying all the advisors are busy. Can you queue or do you have to keep retrying?
